How to Replace Haworth Zody Arm Pads

The Zody's arm pads, which Haworth calls arm caps, are held on by a single screw at the front and a hook at the back. The method is the same whether your Zody has fixed, height-adjustable or 4D arms.

Will these pads fit my chair?

The Haworth Zody replacement arm pads fit the original Zody chair and stool. They do not fit the Zody II.

What you will need

• A Torx T20 screwdriver or bit.
• A towel or blanket to lay the chair on.
• The replacement pads. Screws are not included, because you reuse the originals.

Step by step

1. Lay the chair on its side, or raise the arm, so you can reach under the front of the pad.
2. Undo the screw under the front of the pad.
3. Lift the front of the pad and ease it forwards to unhook the back from the arm.
4. Fit the new pad back first. Hook the back of the pad into the arm, then press the front down.
5. Refit the screw from underneath and tighten until snug.
6. Repeat on the other side.
