How to Replace Haworth Very Arm Pads

The Haworth Very uses one screw per arm pad, but the way the pad comes off depends on your arms. On height-adjustable and 4D arms it hooks in at the back. On fixed arms it slides forwards off the arm instead.

What you will need

• A Torx T20 screwdriver or bit.
• A towel or blanket to lay the chair on.
• The Haworth Very replacement arm pads. Screws are not included, because you reuse the originals.

Height-adjustable and 4D arms

1. Undo the screw under the front of the pad.
2. Lift the front and ease the pad forwards to unhook the back.
3. Hook the back of the new pad in first, then press the front down.
4. Refit the screw from underneath and tighten until snug.

Fixed arms

1. Undo the screw under the back of the pad.
2. Slide the pad forwards until it comes free, then lift it off.
3. Place the new pad on the arm slightly forward of its final position, then slide it backwards until it stops and the screw hole lines up.
4. Refit the screw and tighten until snug.
